I would rather suggest you to go for IIT first and do not lose your 1 year in B.Tech. If you don't have the option right now then you should study and prepare for the entrance exam of IIT then if pass then further procedure will start.

It’s all on your interests. According to your marks, you can easily pursue B.Tech in IPU. But, if you have full faith that you can crack the next year IIT entrance exams, then only go for one year drop. Otherwise, if you have doubt then do not take a risk of one year. B.Tech has higher value than B.Sc. But. As u say B.Tech has only better value if u finishes it from a better college. So in my viewpoint finish B.Sc. CS from S. R. M and then do a master degree. This will fetch u with good salary package. Good luck!

Eligibility: The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed. course is Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from a recognised board/university with at least 50% marks. If you fulfill the score, you are eligible to pursue B.Ed.
