Computer Science and Engineering Placement

The college has released the branch-wise placement percentage on the official website. During 2022 placements, more than 80% of the CSE batch was placed in leading companies across different sectors. Additionally, of all the branches CSE recorded the highest placement percentage. The Accurate Group of Institutions placements are excellent as the highest package of INR 10 LPA was offered by Intellipaat to a BTech graduate. IGT solutions offered a package of INR 5.2 LPA to a polytechnic student. More than 50 students got participated in this course.

Placements for BTech in CSE at RR group of institutions are very good. Each and every year, RRGI organizes around three ‘MEGA JOB FAIRS’ with more than 150 national and multinational companies arriving to place students from various courses like B.Tech., M.B.A., and Polytechnic. And apart from this RRGI also hosts drives for various national and multinational companies offering attractive packages to students at the pan-India level with around average package of INR 4.5 LPA. 

IIT Indore has a good record of placements for CSE branch. In 2025, the IIT Indore CSE average package offered stood at INR 27.27 LPA. The key highlights of IIT Indore BTech CSE and M.Tech CSE placements 2025 are presented below:

The Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Patna campus has above average placements for its Computer Science Engineering (CSE) department. The CSE department has a 90% or higher placement rate every year, with an average package of INR 5.76 lacs and a minimum package of INR 3 lacs. In 2023, the average package for the BTech CSE course was INR 20 LPA.

Pursuing a BTech CSE is course from IIT Jammu is a good choice if considering the placement opportunities. The full BTech placement statistics is yet to be released. As per the latest report, IIT Jammu CSE average package offered to BTech students in 2025 stood at INR 22.32 LPA. The key highlights of IIT Jammu placements for the BTech CSE Class of 2025 are tabulated below:

The IIT Mandi CSE average package offered to BTech batch 2024 stood at INR 26.55 LPA. The IT Mandi CSE average package offered to BTech students between 2023 and 2024 are presented below:

The top 10% students of School of Computer Science received average package of INR 16.2 LPA during UPES Dehradun placeemnts 2025.

Though there is no official data available for placements on the official site of Techno main Salt College but according to the students, the highest package offered is 45 LPA with average package of 4-5 LPA. The lowest package was given of 2.8 LPA. The top recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Google, TCS, IBM, Capgemini, Accenture and many more. For the college which is ranked 4th in West Bengal the placement numbers are a bit low.
