The placement trends for the DES Pune University for CSE B.Tech have been pretty good. The institute maintains strong relationships with all prominent companies and has an active placement cell. As per the latest report, the the highest and average package offered to the BTech batch 2025 stood at INR 137 LPA and INR 11.10 LPA, respectively. Over 450 recruiters visited the university for BTech placements in 2025. According to the latest reviews provided by the BTech CSE students of Bennett University on Shiksha.com, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, etc. are the major companies that visit the campus for placements.

VJTI provides good and strong placement assistance to its BTech CSE graduates. During 2023 Placement, VJTI saw impressive placement statistics, with the highest package of INR 57 LPA and the average package stood at INR 20 LPA. Leading companies like DE Shaw, Amazon, LinkedIn, Texas Instruments, Capgemini, Morgan Stanley, etc. were among top recruiters. Further, 88 students of the BTech CSE batch 2024 were eligible for the placements 2024, of which 72 were placed in reputed companies during VJTI placements 2024. 

As per the latest report, IIIT Sonepat recorded 70.7% of the CSE branch students were placed in 2024 placement drive at IIIT Sonepat. The highest and average package offered to CSE students during IIIT Sonepat placements in 2024 was INR 40 LPA and INR 13.88 LPA, respectively. RIT Roorkee offers decent placements to its BTech students annually. In 2024, RIT Roorkee placed 80% of the BTech batch 2024 in reputed companies. DTU has a good track record of CSE placements. The average and highest salary packages offered are typically competitive.

Both the B.Tech in Cyber Security and the B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at VGI (Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions) in Greater Noida provide good placement opportunities though the B.Tech in CSE has best placements. More career options in software development IT services, data Science and other fields are available to CSE graduates which frequently leads to placement rates. Even though it's a specialised field with increasing demand, jobs in cyber security are usually more narrowly focused. The B.Tech CSE would be a better option if you're interested in a more varied range of tech jobs.

The the highest package offered during NIT Nagaland BTech placements in 2024 was more than INR 8 LPA. Further, the NIT Nagaland CSE average package offered in 2024 was more than INR 6 LPA. UPES Dehradun is a very reputed university and is known for providing good placements for its students. The highest package offered to BTech CSE students during UPES placements in 2024 stood at INR 50.09 LPA. Moreover, the median package for CSE graduates stood at INR 8.41 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters of UPES Dehradun in 2024 included Autodesk India, Schlumberger, ONGC, Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte Microsoft, EY, KPMG, PwC, etc.
