NIT Durgapur M.Tech CSE placements data has not been released on the official website of the institute. However, during the National Institute of Technology Durgapur M.Tech placements 2022, a total number of 48 students got the placement offer. Over the past three years (2021 to 2023), the number of BTech and PG (2-year) students placed has improved. The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. It is the highest package of the year and many students were placed in it.

The lowest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA.The fact of low package does not mean not worthy .the company which offered has good name and fame.beside being the lowest package the company is well famed.

Top recruiting companies were Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Code Champ, etc.

The VBSPU average package CSE has not been disclosed yet. However, the overall median package for BTech has been released, which is tabulated below:
