Computer Science and Engineering Placement

Before I proceed forward and answer this question, you need to understand that people end up in engineering colleges for graduation for several reasons.
1. They are still not sure what to do with their lives and engineering seems to be an easy option.
2. "College days", something that brings the image of masti (fun) and friends and booze and late night hangouts to everyone's minds. And getting into an engineering college means you GET a B.tech/B.E degree along with that fun.
3. Their love for Science and hence the desire to make a career in this field. But then, this is my personal opinion and it may be very different from all of you who are reading this. Now, back to the question. Is BITD good enough to be an engineering college? I would like to answer this in reference to the points I mentioned above.
1. Maybe.
2. No.
3. NO!
If you are still reading this, let me elaborate. Deoghar is a small town in the state of Jharkhand and should NOT be confused with Deogarh which is in Rajasthan, if I am not wrong. It is also known as Baidhyanathdham and is famous for its Shiva temple. As most pilgrimage places are, it is not developed. So, if you think you belong to point number 2 category, this is not the place for you my friend. It has ZERO night life. In time for girls is 6 even in summers and for boys it is 8-9, a little flexible, and there is nothing inside the campus at all. A new so-called mall has opened recently in Deoghar with Eylex so now you can watch movies at a decent place now and not at a place where there is no AC, no fan, with plastic chairs and uncles in loongi!
Coming to the most important part, about 'worth it' tag, this is so not the place to be! If you are really passionate about engineering, DON'T come here. Maybe this was Birlas style of trolling the rest of the world. "You wanna be an engineer? Want to go to a good college with 'Birla' tag? BITD is the best option!" LOL. Inefficient administration, complete absence of labs, lack of instruments and software are just some of the few things that this place lacks as an engineering college. I would skip commenting on the faculty, for obvious reasons. There is absolutely no reason why you should go to this place if you believe in innovation, research or to gain knowledge. If anything, you are likely to forget whatever you have learned till now! And I am not kidding.
