Birsa Institute of technology is best engineering college of Dhanbad after IIT, Dhanbad. Admission in BIT Sindri is done through JCECE. The Institute is very old and is located in Sindri town which is 20 kilometers away from Dhanbad. The university is affiliated to Vinoba Bhave Univesity, Hazaribag. The institute has very good Placement for all the branches. Computer science engineering department of BIT, Sindri is not as good as the other branches there. Even the metallurgy department is far better than CSE department of BIT, Sindri. That is why cut-off for CSE goes down.
However, placement is good for CSE. Highest salary offered was 12 LPA and average salary is 3-4 lakhs per annum. Companies like Tata consultancy services, IBM India, Cognizant, HP, etc. recruited students from CSE. Fee is very less faculties are good and Infrastructure is just average.

Placements were fine, means at least 90% of the seniors got placed. The lowest salary was 4 lakhs and the maximum was 18 lakhs. Companies like IBM, Microsoft, Infosys and Wipro came. This year, 30 to 40% got internships were from the college itself. The stipend was offered from a minimum of 1,000 to maximum of 5,000. The college offers a placement rate of 99%. TCS, Wipro, CTS etc., but around 10 to 12 people got placed in core companies like IBM, Amazon etc. The packages vary from company to company and most students got around 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. If you manage to get placed in core companies, the packages offered are around 12 to 16 LPA.

Harcourt Butler Technical University, also known as HBTU is among good universities in Kanpur. CSE is one of the finest branch here. A lot of good companies visit the campus for recruitment. Some of the companies are ACCENTURE, Adobe, Amazon, IBM, Idea Cellular Services. Infosys, ITC, etc. The average package is around Rs 4 to Rs 5 lakhs per annum. The faculties here are quite good. Some are highly qualified and some are experienced. The highest package is around Rs 8 to Rs 10 lakhs per annum. The students are good here and the atmosphere inside the campus is apt. As compared to other colleges of West Bengal, the scenario is much better(except 1 or 2 other private colleges). Recently from last 2 years, Tech-Mahindra is also visiting.The average placement from all the branches combined is approximately 200-250. Apart from that, you would get opportunities for pool campusing. Overall you can say it's placement ratio is average.College administration has to work a lot to increase the placement so as to maintain the name of HIT. Freshers enrolling in this college have a lot of faith that they would be placed from here but the things are not like that. The placements at Hindustan University for computer science engineering is really good. The placement ratio is almost 80% placement.The average package is around Rs 4 to Rs 6 lakhs per annum.
Since CSE is among the evergreen field, the placement of this branch will increase with the good amount of packages. Many companies like Accenture, IBM, DBS Bank, Tech Mahindra etc takes students from here. This all credit goes to training and placement cell department of Hindustan University.
Many opportunities of jobs for this Branch is seen in upcoming years with good amount of packages.
So thus the placement ratio of Hindustan University is almost 80 % and in future, it will be like this only for computer science engineering and other top engineering fields.

Inderprastha Engineering College is a private engineering college in Ghaziabad, India. It is ranked 17th in Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. It was founded in 2000 and the first batch graduated in 2004.
Don't expect too much from IPEC. If you think you are going to get great CS education and exposure then you are wrong. It's an above average college. There is a reason why it's not above IITD, NSIT, DTU and IIITD.
Don't worry about placements, if you land up in a good college under IPEC especially in CSE program, you'll get ample of opportunities to land a good job unless you do nothing in the 4 years.
Average package goes around INR 3.5-4 LPA and if you're got technically sound and have good aptitude skills, you might find a job giving you INR 7-8 LPA.
So, all in all, IPEC is not so bad, if not that good to be compared to IITs and NITs. If you're a keen learner and would like to do something in those 4 years, I bet you'll end up doing and learning even more.
