Computer engineers have plenty of options to work in IT companies in departments like development, design, assembly, manufacture & maintenance. Working as web developer, programmer & E-commerce specialist with telecom companies, aerospace companies, automotive companies can be a lucrative career option. Moreover, various national & multinational computer manufacturing companies, computer hardware system design & computer networking companies, development companies, software companies hire computer professionals in large numbers.

You don't have to think or worry about scopes in any field as long as your passion and interest lies in it. Never be an engineer if you don't want to.

You must pursue B.Tech in Computers. Yes, there are many institutes where you can appear for the entrance exam even if you have less than 60% marks.

I think, ECS has good scope and the placements are also good. You should pursue it from a reputed university or college.

CSE is good as we are living in an era of IT where the demand of this branch is very high.it is suggested to choose the stream cautiously as it matters a lot in your placements and packages. The average package is around 3 lakhs to 3.5 lakhs per year.

Among computer science engineering and aeronautical engineering, CSE has more scope. Computer engineers are required in almost all industries and companies whole aeronautical engineers are restricted to aviation industry only. Also, starting salary package is high in CSE as compared to aeronautical engineering.
