Hi A,
As your rank in KIITTE is 9504, so it will be a little bit difficult for you to get computer Science engineering in the first round itself. You can go for other courses in the first round. But you may get CSE, if you wait till the last round of the counselling process. Faculty members are very good.
Best of luck.

B.Sc in n computer science doesn't have much scope as it is more of a theoretical study so B.Tech in CS is recommended over B.Sc in CS.

Scope for computer Science engineering is better than most of the other branches but the competition is also high for the same. It can be applied in software field, IT field or you can also work as a freelancer.

There is a great scope of CS in future, because as the technology will develop. There is great need of person to operate it and repair it, when it became defective, also new programs with better updates need to be developed in future, so strengthen the technology boost. So, CS is evergreen according to me.

Both the branches have equal opportunities when it comes to job. And both have good scope now. So, it all depends on your interest and not on which is better.
