You can take admission in your home town top government or private college which take admission by counselling is better option for you. Example if you belong from UP you fill the AKTU counselling and choose ABES or KEIT because they are autonomous.

With a CRL rank of 335,752 in JEE Mains, it's unlikely to get CSE in top government colleges in Delhi NCR. But you can still get CSE or related branches in private colleges.

? Colleges You Can Target:

1. Sharda University, Greater Noida – Direct admission, good infra.

2. Galgotias University, Greater Noida – Decent placements.

3. NIET, Greater Noida – Accepts UPTAC, good CSE scope.

4. GL Bajaj, Greater Noida – May get IT/AIML.

5. Amity University, Noida – Direct admission, higher fees.

6. IIMT, Greater Noida – Budget-friendly, easy admission.

? Focus on IT, Data Science, AIML if CSE isn't available.

Maths is one of the most important parts of the BTech CSE syllabus, where you encounter subjects like Calculus, Linear Algebra, etc. in the CSE 1st year syllabus and get introduced to the mathematical concepts applicable in CSE.

From second year onwards, you have to basically apply that mathematical knowledge to make sense of complex CSE subjects like Data Structures, Database Management, Computer Networks, etc., which makes Mathematics a core component for the BTech CSE coursework across all semesters, be it introductory lectures or application in other core subjects.

In the CSE 1st year syllabus, you will be studying basic subjects like Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, Basics of Programming Languages, Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Introduction to Data Structure and Algorithms, etc.

The first year in the CSE curriculum is meant to make you familiar with the foundations of engineering in general and introductory lectures on basic CSE-related concepts. From the second year onwards, you enter into the intricacies of the field and get to explore the more technical side of CSE.

The demand in CSE (CEG Campus) from Other State Quota students at Anna University predominantly fills with students in the mark range of the top (often above 198/200).

Usually, for the general/open category, expected minimum cutoff marks for CSE is around 198–200/200 at College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG)—the main campus of Anna University.

Limited seats are available for other state students. Seats are supernumerary (meaning extra) and usually limited to overall 121 seats for all branches, so the cutoff essentially is the highest marks of all applicants for CSE, meaning that generally no students with value ensure admission; often

Based on the most recent and reliable cutoff trends:

The expected closing rank for CSE at SRM-AP (Amaravati) is typically in the 3,500–6,000 range. Even in years where cutoffs relaxed, they did not generally go beyond 6,000 for the general category at this campus.

For main and more sought-after campuses (such as Kattankulathur in Chennai), CSE usually closes much earlier—well within 2,000–9,000.

With a 15,000 rank, you may have options in other branches (like ECE, IT, Mechanical) at SRM-AP or CSE in lower-preference campuses, but pure CSE at SRM-AP is statistically out of reach as per recent years' counseling cutoffs.

For choosing between LNCT Main Campus CSE and VIT Chennai CSE with specialization. VIT Chennai generally offers better placement opportunities and a more structured learning environment with specializations. However, it's significantly more expensive. LNCT Main Campus might be a better option if you are looking for a more affordable option and are comfortable with a general CSE curriculum or are willing to pursue specializations later in your academic career or through self-study.

We can predict a range of rank which may get you into Parul University through JEE Mains for BTech in CSE.

For B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at Parul University, the expected cutoff through JEE Mains is around 38488 for the general category. Parul University also accepts scores from GUJCET and direct admissions are also possible.

If you got 13900 rank in the SRM entrance exam then it is very slim to get CSE with any specialisation at the SRM kattankulan Thur campus because for getting admission in CSE specialisation students rank must be lies between 8000 to 9000
