No, there is no such facility by the exam body to make corrections. BIT Mesra generally advises that details cannot be altered once the final submission is made.

Yes, you can specialize in Cloud Computing after BTech CS or even during it, for that matter. You have some simple options to do the same -

  • Choose your electives accordingly. Indulge in relevant projects and internships to grab jobs in the said domain.
  • People often get into some additional certificate programs to gain expertise in a particular tech field during their official degree.
  • You can choose the Cloud Computing specialisation during your M.Tech degree too.
  • Cloud Computing is more of a sub-branch of IT & Software rather than an engineering branch itself. But pursuing it as a field of expertise is definitely possible.

Cloud computing is basically a set of services accessed over the cloud i.e the internet. Cloud engineering is all about designing, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure. Both swear by tools like AWS, Azure & Google Cloud Platform. Cloud engineering additionally leverages services of other tools like Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, etc.. The fields are closely related but still have distinct features and functions.

Choosing a better course is a subjective take. All you can do for yourself is have a bit of introspection. Have an overview of the tools, languages, syllabus, projects and job roles.

To give you an introductory idea -  Cloud computing is all about services like storage, servers and databases provided over the web. Whereas cyber security field deals with protecting your systems and data from external attacks. Honestly, both are high-demand fields right now.

Some things like networking essentials, basic programming, Python, scripting, operating systems, Linux, etc. can be helpful for you before starting your academics in cloud computing. They are not compulsory for admission.

Other prerequisites largely depend on the level of your academic journey you are at as of now.

There are numerous job profiles offered in the domain of cloud computing in India. Some of them are - AWS Devops Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Cloud Security Engineer, Cloud Support Engineer, Cloud Devops Engineer, Software Tester and a lot more. Now my advice to freshers would be to pick an expertise, stick to it and learn as much as you can. Develop portfolio/ projects to showcase in your resume, connect with faculty and maintain a good alumni network to have good industry connections. Don't wait for the end of your degree/ course duration for opportunities.

Given that you have a good set of skills, impressive resume, relevant certificates and experience - then yes you can aspire to work in good companies in both India and abroad. Cloud Computing is a growing field worldwide. With Internet services being an absolute necessity for everyone, there is enough scope for actual skilled professionals. Though freshers get entry-level packages in the beginning, the growth rate is really good with consistent experience.
