Currently all business and government IT Infrastructure and applications are open to security breach. This threat is increasing everyday. There is never ending race between IT technologists and hackers to prove thier superiority. Therefore, enterprises will require ethical hackers to protect thier business critical IT application and infrastructure.

B.Tech has more value and its duration is less than BCA and MCA. To complete BCA and MCA, you need 6 years and to complete B.Tech you need 4 years.

After pursuing BXA and MCA you may get a Jo. in IT software field. This will include software development, software testing and etc. Core jobs related to JAVA and others languages will also be available. You might go for different profile like JAVA, Python, Android Development, Networking, Oracle, SQL, Database Management and others. There are various options available.

You can do BCA but you have the basic knowledge of computer application. And best college in Punjab is CGC Landran College but if you want best placements then go to Christ University Karnataka Bangalore. I will not force you. I am also going there for BCA next year even I live in Punjab. Best of luck

If you get admission in B.Tech. then try to do. But if for any reason like low percentage in 12th you're not able to get admission in B.Tech. then definitely enroll in BCA. The combination of BCA + MCA is equivalent to B.Tech. in C.S./I.T.
Therefore, by doing either B.Tech. or BCA + MCA you can become software engineer.

To become a Software developer and write software, you do not require Computer degrees. But to get a job as a Software Developer, you require degree such as B.Tech CSE/IT, MCA etc. Indian IT industry employ non-computer Science degree holders as Developer also, but this trend is slowly going down.

I would suggest you to go for M.Sc honors.

After doing BCA + MCA and MBA in IT you can join any big well known company as an IT expert or system engineer. Also, you can apply for government jobs in government sectors.
If you are an expert in coding then you can apply for jobs abroad.

Both B Tech CS and MCA meet eligibility criteria for working visa in most of thecountries abroad. For onsite assignment relevant experience is more important then type of degree.
