The minimum criteria for BCA at Dr. Subhash University:
- Candidates must be passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) from any Central/State recognised board.

The placement is generally good for MCA students at NERIM, providing them with a variety of companies that are either based locally, regionally, or with some national and international organizations. Most of them find opportunities in services in the IT and software development-related categories.
Usually, the placement rate and average salary packages remain satisfactory, but they may vary with market conditions and the individual performance of candidates.
