Aspirants need to pass BCA/ BSc (Computer Science)/ BSc (IT)/ B.E.(CSE)/ BTech (CSE)/ B.E. (IT)/ BTech (IT) or equivalent degree or any graduation degree (B.E./ BTech/ BSc/ BCom. BA/ BVoc, etc.) with Mathematics at Class 12 or graduation level with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category) to apply for MCA programme at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

No, MIT ADTU offers direct admission to a UG-level BCA course. Admission to this course at MIT ADTU is only merit-based. Candidates are not required to qualify for any entrance exam. Aspirants need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria before applying for this course. The selection of the right candidate is done through their merit score obtained in the previous qualifying exam. As per the selection criteria, once candidates will be shortlisted, they have to appear for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds conducted at MIT ADTU.

To get admission to a three-year BCA course at MIT ADT, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as per the university's norms. Those who are willing to get admission to BCA at MIT ADT must pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate in either Science/ Commerce/ Management Sciences stream from ICSE/ CBSE or any recognised board are eligible to apply for this course. For reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD), there is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum passing marks required in Class 12. They can get admission by acquiring minimum of 45% aggregate in Class 12.

The total tuition fee of BCA is INR 4.2 lakh. The fee is, exclusive of hostel charges ranking from INR 1 Lacs and INR 1.40 lakh. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates will also require to pay a registration fee to apply for admission.
