No, there is no option to take admission to MCA course at Chandigarh University without giving CUCET. Admission to this course is entrance-based. Whoever want to take admission to MCA must appear and qualify for CUCET with a valid score as it's a mandatory step of the selection process. For admission to two-year MCA course at Chandigarh University, there is a minimum eligibility that needs to be fulfilled at the time of admission. As per the university's official website, those who are willing to get admission to MCA course at CU must pass graduation either in BCA or any equivalent UG degree in the respective subjects from a recognised university. If students get a UG degree in other streams such as BA/ BCom or BSc, they must have studied Mathematics as one of their main subjects. Chandigarh University offers a two-year full-time course of MCA (General). Apart from this, the university also offers MCA in two different specialisations namely, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Cloud Computing & DevOps. There are two other courses that are offered in International Tie-up Programme (ITP). These are MCA - ITP (Study in USA) and MCA - Cloud Computing and DevOps (ITP). The registration portal for BHU MCA admission was opened from Jun 27 to Jul 16. This portal is opened again for 5 days after the CUET-PG result declaration. NTA announced CUET PG 2023 result on Jul 20. Hence, the portal will open again soon. The university has announced any date for the same as of now. Candidates are advised to frequently check the BHU official website to stay updates regarding the events and dates.
