Black Belt & Green Belt are levels of Six Sigma. Green Belt is starting level and Black Belt is advance comes after the Green Belt. You have to be green belt certified in order to proceed with the black belt. Directly going for a black belt is not recommended as it will be very difficult to cope up with the advanced Black Belt topics and project work. I would suggest you may check and explore more details and which levels to pursue six sigma at ISEL GLOBAL, an International Six Sigma Certifying body.
