Hello, The selection of which course to pursue, whether BCA or B.Tech CS is a major decision, as it will most likely reflect in your performance in the course. BCA or Bachelor of Computer Application imparts knowledge about computer applications whereas B.Tech CSE trains students for computer engineering. For getting admission into B Tech engineering, most students appear for the national level Joint Entrance Exam, popularly known as JEE. The eligibility requirement for MCA programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years or with (BA/B.Com/B.Sc. (any Graduation) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level) or equivalent. So based on the same you can proceed.
