There is no such strict age limit for opting for courses in Biomedical Engineering at popular academic institutions in India. But, looking at the previous admission processes for BME courses, students are usually between 18 years and 24 years at the time of admission.
Rest, some universities may have certain age requirements for admission, it is very less likely to happen though. If you are a bright student with a good academic record and have successfully cleared the entrance exam or other assessment rounds, you can apply for Biomedical Engineering courses.

The B E /B Tech course at B S Anangpuria Institute of Technology and Management determines its admission criteria based on academic qualification followed by entrance test performance. Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination with not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics aggregate (45% for SC/ST categories). Preferably, the admission is given based on the JEE Main score or on the institute's own entrance test. Shortlisted candidates are then asked for counseling.
