At NIT Manipur, the BTech students have better access to research labs and government-funded projects than many other mid-tier engineering colleges. The institute encourages undergraduate research, and students often publish papers in international journals with their professors. There is a strong emphasis on innovation through the institute's incubation center. While top IITs might have more funding, NIT Manipur offers solid research opportunities.
