CPGET exam is of 90 minutes duration. Each paper has 100 multiple-choice questions are based only on prescribed syllabus. Some questions may have more than one correct answer.

- CPGET is a 90-minute exam.
- 100 MCQs in the paper, each worth 1 mark.
- No negative marking.
- Analogies, classification, matching, comprehension, and other similar types of questions are included.

The CPGET is an entrance exam conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad, for admissions to various Postgraduate (PG) courses in the colleges which are affiliated to it.
It is CBT based test for a duration of 90 minutes. There are total 100 questions in exam and each question carry 1 mark. There is no negative Marking. Exam Pattern will be in English.
Exam contains 25 questions of General Knowledge and remaining 75 questions are Subject Specific in Nature.

Similar to other courses, students will be asked 100 questions in a duration of 90 minutes. Each question will carry one mark. Questions will be asked from the sections/subjects of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Section-wise number of questions are provided in the table below
