Dear Srinivasan,
You can pursue B.A. (Criminology) in various colleges in Chennai like D. G. Vaishnav College, Prof. Dhanapalan College, etc., you can pursue career in Police Department, Journalism, Forensic Department, Teaching in Colleges and Research also.

No course is bad. But, Criminology has it's own perks and risk factors too which are not exactly gender specific. If you see case of Canada, female criminologist have seen better situations, as your intellect stays sound even as you grow older, a medical fact that in long term is a career stabilizer

B.A. Criminology is a 3 years undergraduate professional course based on annual examination system. The course is completed in full time and distance learning mode. Minimum criteria for admissions to the course 12th examination in Arts or Science stream.
