To know about the specific sections from which questions are asked. To know about the twists in the questions and the difficulty level you are going to appear for. Refer to standard books. Also, there is no shortcut to preparing, go through the books well, make a short notes and flow charts, practice a variety of questions to master the concepts. Analyze the sets of question papers given on the CSIR website. Analyze each question and study the theory part corresponding to that. Practice lots of MCQs topic wise. Apart from this, solve a lot of mock test papers to know about the difficulty level you are going to appear for and about how the questions are twisted.

To qualify JRF in management I am here suggesting you a few steps. Go only with the latest syllabus, be strict with what to study or whatnot. No need to do Ph.D. over the topics. Be thorough with the topics and Practice a lot, the more you will practice, the better will be your concepts. Refer the quality study materials for both NTA NET paper 1 and paper2. Paper 1 is easy and scoring, it can fetch you good marks in a short time provide you practice it well, just need the good understanding of fundamentals and a lot of practice. Keep on evaluating your performance. Figure out the weak areas and fix them.
