The criteria for CTET exam is different for different level class teacher's post! If you want to teacher of class V to class VIII, then B.Ed is compulsory!

CTET is conducted for recruitment of teachers to both government as well as private schools. The test consists of two papers. The first paper is the primary stage (I to IV) and the second paper is the Elementary stage (V to VIII). The syllabus of the exam covers most of the topics of classes 1 to 8 of NCERT books. The best books for preparation of CTET will be NCERT books for classes 1 to 8. There are many more books available in market.
