Students will be able to check their CUSAT CAT result 2024 in online mode using their username and password. The CUSAT CAT 2024 result includes the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam along with their all-India ranks. The result of CUSAT CAT 2024 will be released in the form of a rank list on the official website. Those students who are declared qualified will be called for the counselling process. The CUSAT CAT 2024 exam is expected to be conducted in May 2024.

The CUSAT CAT 2024 rank list has been available in online mode at the official website of cusat.ac.in. Applicants do not require any login credentials to check their rank list. The Cochin University of Science and Technology released the CUSAT CAT 2024 result on its official website. Applicants appeared in the exam can check their CUSAT CAT result at admissions.cusat.ac.in. The result of CUSAT CAT 2024 has been released in the form of a rank list in PDF format.

To resolve the tie the marks of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be considered in the same order. If the tie continues, the date of birth will be considered in descending order. If the tie further continues, the names of the candidates will be taken into consideration in alphabetical order.

The formula to calculate the CUSAT CAT score is S = 3R-1W.
S is the CAT score; R is the number of right answers and W is the number of wrong answers.
Let us understand with the help of an example:
Let us suppose, the number of right answers are 180 and the number of wrong answers are 20 then the score will be calculated as
S = 3R – 1W {Formula}
S = 3 (180) – 1 (20) {Put the values of R and W}
S = 540 – 20 {Multiply 3 & 180 and 1 & 20}
S = 520
So, the score will be 520 marks.

Here, n denotes the number of candidates appearing for the exam in a particular subject, p denotes the position according to the CUSAT CAT score and S denotes the actual score of the candidate. Once the percentile index is calculated, the authorities will integrate the Percentile Indices to calculate the relative position of a candidate in the CUSAT CAT rank list 2022 for a particular engineering programme.
