Students will be able to check their CUSAT CAT result 2024 in online mode using their username and password. The CUSAT CAT 2024 result includes the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam along with their all-India ranks. The CUSAT CAT 2024 rank list has been available in online mode at the official website of cusat.ac.in. Applicants do not require any login credentials to check their rank list. The Cochin University of Science and Technology released the CUSAT CAT 2024 result on its official website. Applicants appeared in the exam can check their CUSAT CAT result at admissions.cusat.ac.in. The result of CUSAT CAT 2024 has been released in the form of a rank list in PDF format.

To resolve the tie the marks of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be considered in the same order. If the tie continues, the date of birth will be considered in descending order. If the tie further continues, the names of the candidates will be taken into consideration in alphabetical order.

 The formula to calculate the CUSAT CAT score is S = 3R-1W.

S is the CAT score; R is the number of right answers and W is the number of wrong answers.

Let us understand with the help of an example:

Let us suppose, the number of right answers are 180 and the number of wrong answers are 20 then the score will be calculated as

S = 3R – 1W  {Formula}

S = 3 (180) – 1 (20)  {Put the values of R and W}

S = 540 – 20  {Multiply 3 & 180 and 1 & 20}

S = 520

So, the score will be 520 marks.

During the CUSAT CAT exam preparation journey, if possible, candidates should buy an online test series. It is to be noted here that it is not necessary to buy the CUSAT CAT-specific test series. Candidates can buy any test series of engineering entrance examinations, like the online test series of JEE Main, UPSEE, etc., which are easily available on various online platforms. Practicing test series or mock tests is necessary during CUSAT CAT preparation as it will help to understand time management, boost confidence levels, and determine loopholes.

For each wrong answer, there will be a deduction of one mark only. Applicants will be awarded three marks for every correct answer in the CUSAT CAT exam. The pattern of the CUSAT CAT exam comprises the marking scheme, duration of the exam, number of questions asked, etc. It is also important to have a clear understanding of the CUSAT CAT syllabus and exam pattern. Candidates can also refer to the CUSAT previous year question papers to analyse the questions and help in preparation.

The questions in the Physics section and in the Chemistry section are of three hundred marks, and the questions in the Mathematics section are of three hundred marks. Therefore, the total marks are six hundred. It is to be noted that there will be negative marking, and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. And for a correct answer, three marks will be awarded.

CUSAT CAT question paper comprises the questions of six hundred seventy five marks. The questions in CUSAT exam will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
