To resolve the tie the marks of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be considered in the same order. If the tie continues, the date of birth will be considered in descending order.  The formula to calculate the CUSAT CAT score is S = 3R-1W.

S is the CAT score; R is the number of right answers and W is the number of wrong answers.

Let us understand with the help of an example:

Let us suppose, the number of right answers are 180 and the number of wrong answers are 20 then the score will be calculated as

S = 3R – 1W  {Formula}

S = 3 (180) – 1 (20)  {Put the values of R and W}

S = 540 – 20  {Multiply 3 & 180 and 1 & 20}

S = 520

So, the score will be 520 marks.
