The CUSAT CAT Cutoff 2025 for admission to various UG and PG courses was released for all categories and rounds under the Home State and All India quota. As per the closing cutoff in the last round for the General AI students, the cutoff range fell between and 4401, wherein Integrated LLM in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) + Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) was the most competitive course and B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, the easiest course for this category. The CUSAT CAT cutoff is the minimum rank at which candidates are allotted a branch. The CUSAT CAT cutoff is different for each course and college. The authority will announce the cutoff of CUSAT CAT after each round of counselling.

The CUSAT CAT passing marks for the BTech exam is 10 marks in maths and 10 marks in physics and chemistry combined. However, Kerala SC and ST candidates do not have a minimum passing mark.

As per the CUSAT CAT marking scheme, candidates will get 3 marks for every correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

The total duration of CUSAT CAT exam is 3 hours. There is also a subject-wise time limit. The Physics section will be conducted in the first 60 minutes, the Chemistry section will be held in the next 45 minutes and finally the mathematics section for 75 minutes.

As per the CUSAT CAT exam pattern there will be 225 MCQs. The mathematics section will have 90 questions, physics will have 75 questions, while chemistry will have 60 questions. The exam duration is 3 hr and the maximum mark is 675.

Yes. NCERTs should form the base of your preparation since the CUSAT CAT syllabus is the same as mentioned in the NCERTs.
