UPSE conducts CSAT exam for the post for customs officer grade one
SSC conducts CGL exam for customs officer grade two. The duties and responsibilities of a customs officer includes -
Identifying people to question on the basis of prior offences/likely risk, etc. Searching baggage and individuals for smuggled items

If you want to become an airport customs officer, you should have to clear the exam CSAT and should have relevant degree in any stream. And, the minimum age should be 21.

1. UPSC civil services examination: Through this, you can get into IRS cadre and get into customs at gazetted level.
2. SSC examination: through this, you can get into custom/income tax services at non-gazetted level
