Candidates have to complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/ or Biology as optional subjects with at least 55% aggregate to apply for BPharm at Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research. Hence, aspirants can apply for BPharm with 64% in Class 12. Further, there is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for SC, ST, OBC and PwD aspirants.

Students belonging to SC category and have parents/ guardian income from all sources not more than INR 2.5 Lacs per annum are offered Post Matric Scholarship by Central Government. The scholarship includes maintenance allowance, reimbursement of non-refundable fee, etc.

Yes, students can get scholarship based on their GPAT score under Pradhan Mantri Scholarship for Pharmacy Post Graduate Studies offered by PCI. The scholarship is offered to MPharm student who have qualified GPAT. A scholarship of INR 12,400 per month is offered to selected students for 24 months.

Aspirants fulfilling the eligibility requirements have to apply online. Students have to submit the request letter to the scholarship in-charge DPSRU/ DIPSAR with a copy of the application and other necessary documents along with the bank details. The applications are further verified via funding agency e-portal. In case of discrepancy, students are asked to rectify it and re-upload the necessary documents.

Candidates who have passed BPharm with a minimum of 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates) are eligible to apply for MPharm programme at Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research. Further, the age of the candidates should be more than 21 years on or before Dec 31, 2025 to apply for MPharm programme.

Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research has a total of 42 seats in the MPharm programme. The seats are offered to candidates based on their GPAT or qualifying exam scores. 15% of the total seats are filled by non-Delhi candidates with a valid GPAT score. The rest 85% is filled by graduates passed out from Delhi colleges/ universities with a valid GPAT score. Out of the 85% seats of Delhi category, 70% seats are offered to DIPSAR/ DPSRU candidates and the remainning 15% is reserved for Delhi non-DPSRU aspirants from NCT of Delhi.
