A Delhi University 2nd year promotion requires passing a minimum of 50% of papers between your 1st year and 2nd year . Students who failed in many subjects still need to pass only 50% of their papers to advance. You must pass the remaining necessary papers once you reach your second academic year. The passing requirement consists of obtaining at least 40% marks in both theoretical and practical assessments for each subject.
