The total number of seats for BA (Prog) at Dyal Singh College is 231. Out of these, 93 seats are unreserved (open) and the rest are reserved for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/EWS category. Dyal Singh Collge BA admission is based on the candidate's score in CUET UG.  As CUET UG is the only accepted entrance exam for BA admissions at the college, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria for getting an admission. The eligibility criteria for CUET UG is as follows:

  • Students must have passed Class 12 or appeared in Class 12 from a recognised board with relevant subjects
  • For the General category, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50% in Class 12. For SC/ST category, candidates need to have secured a minimum of 45% in Class 12 in order to be eligible for the CUET 2024

As per the Kirori Mal College admission guidelines BCom cousre admission is entirely based on the CUET exam.Admission to the undergraduate level at Kirori Mal College course was based on Class 12/HSC exam scores till 2021. From 2022, the BCom Hons (three-year) course admission is subject to the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. Hence, for BCom seat allocation in KMC, the marks obtained in CUET 2023 are used to calculate the total scores based on the specific combination of topics for each program.
