Usually, college and university association doesn't fail any student in their internal exams. If the student did very poor result which is completely unacceptable, in that case it might be possible that they doesn't promote you but usually this scene never appears because the whole semester teachers help the student to stay up to date about tests, assignments and mock exams to perform well. Along with this, multiple tests are taken which gives students an improvement session as well to perform well inhe next test to score good.
