Hello,
Music is also included in the best four subject for admission to merit based courses in Delhi University. The basic criteria for a subject to be considered is it should be 70% theory and 30% of practical. After qualifying these conditions a subject can be considered as best for. Moreover there will be a cut off of 2.5% if you take music in your best four. Hence avoid adding music into your core subjects.

DU is much older and has much better ranking, accrediting and brand value. Ashoka University is emerging university offering courses in specific domain.
So these are two different sort of universities and DU is comparatively better.
