The admission to Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai, Bharati Vidyapeeth for BDS is fairly tough. Candidates must succeed in 10+2 with PCB and English and a minimum of 50% in PCB (40% for reserved categories for SC/ ST/OBC etc.). The admission is done based on the student performance in NEET UG examination.

The only recognised professional Dental course in India is the 5-year undergraduate BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) programme.
