There are about 10+ BDS colleges in Bangalore. Of these, 4 are private colleges. The top colleges include M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Government Dental College and Research Institute, KLE Society's Institute of Dental Sciences, The Oxford Dental College and Hospital, and many others.
Admissions usually based on NEET entrance exam score basis.

The Bharati Vidyapeeth NEET MDS Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the MDS courses for all categories under the All India quota. The top two most competitve courses were MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with the cutoff in the last round being 2795. In 2024, the cutoff for the same course was 1798, and in 2023, it was 1276. The Bharati Vidyapeeth NEET MDS Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the MDS programme. According to the cutoff in 2025, the last round closing ranks were between 2795 and 19481 for the General category candidates under the All India quota. The hardest course for admission in the last round was MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, followed by MDS in Prosthodontics, Crown and Bridge, with the cutoff being 2795 and 2801, respectively.

The Bharati Vidyapeeth NEET Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the MBBS and BDS course. According to the Bharati Vidyapeeth MBBS Cutoff 2025, the closing cutoff ranged from 374028 to 716192 in the first and last round for the General category candidates under the All India quota. The BDS course had a last round cutoff rank of 779087 for admission to the Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, Sangli.

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University accepts the DBRAU Cutoff 2025 for admission to the BDS courses. According to the cutoff in 2024, which was 926018, in 2023, it was 1192090, and in 2022, it was 990616. Analysing the year-wise trend over the years, we can say that competition for this category has been fluctuating over the 3 years for the General category candidates under the All India quota.

The DBRAU NEET Cutoff 2025 is accepted for admission to the BDS course. Students can only avail admission to this university for its BDS course if they qualify for the NEET entrance examination. As per the NEET Cutoff 2024, admission in the last Round for the General HS category was 926018.
