NEET MDS is a computer-based exam of three hours duration with two time-bound sections. Part A was for 75 minutes and had 100 questions. Part B had 140 questions to be solved in105 minutes. The timing of the exam was 2 PM to 5 PM. There were a total of 240 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the NEET MDS syllabus. The SGT University placement details for the 2023 drive have not been released as of now. However, the NIRF report 2024 is out. As per the report, 29 UG (4-year) Agriculture, 57 BDS, 36 MDS, 41 BPharma, and 15 MPharma students were placed in the 2023 drive. Further, 57 PG (3-year) Medical students were placed. The median package offered to UG (4-year) Agriculture students was INR 3.50 LPA. For Pharmacy courses, the median package ranged between INR 4.08 LPA and INR 4.32 LPA. For BDS and MDS courses, the median package offered during SGT University placement 2023 was INR 7 LPA and INR 10 LPA, respectively.

Candidates can join SGT University only after getting shortlisted for the applied course. The selection criteria varies course-wise. Candidates need to pass CUET-UG for admission to courses such as BSc, BCA, etc. For MSc, MBA, MTech, etc. aspirants require CUET-PG score. Besides, NEET conducted by NTA is accepted for BAMS and MBBS programmes. For all other courses, merit of the candidates is considered for admission.
SGT University reserve at least 25% of total seats for the students belonging to the state of Haryana. Out of this, 10% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) category candidates from the state of Haryana. SGT University admission process starts with registration for the preferred course. Candidates can fill out the application form offline or apply on the university website. SGT University selects candidates for most of the UG courses based on CUET scores. The university accepts CUET-PG for PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MPharm, etc. Besides, candidates must also fulfil the eligibility criteria to apply for admission.
SGT University eligibility criteria varies course-wise. However, the aggregate requirement for most of the courses ranges between 50% aggregate to 60% aggregate. For bachelor's courses such as BTech, candidates need a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 12. Hence, candidates with 60% or more in Class 12 can apply for admission to any of the UG programmes.
CAT is not required for SGT University Gurgaon. However, CAT scores are considered for admission to the MBA programme at SGT University Gurgaon. For admission to the MBA program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% marks.
