DES Pune University admissions are based on scores of various state/ national-level entrance exams. The selection criteria is a mix of entrance exams and merit-based as per respective courses. To get admitted to DES Pune University, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. Further, to be eligible for BTech at DES PU, students must have passed Class 12 with a 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

For admission in a MBA programme at DES Pune University, it is crucial that the aspirant fulfills the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the aspirants who have passed graduation with a 50% aggregate are eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. Candidate must also hold the graduation mark sheet during application form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.

- Candidate must have cleared JEE Mains / MHT CET Exam.
- Candidate must have passed class 12th with atleast 50% score.
