Your campus will depend on the rank you will get after clearing the entrance exam. There won't be any direct benefits but if you are interested in fashion designing, NIFT has the best colleges in India. Although chances will be limited and getting admission will be a tough competition because seats are limited. Rest, wish you luck. Hope it helps!

Hi Saiyma, It all depends on your passion and from where you did your course. Doing UG Interior Designing from a reputed Institute will fetch you a very good Job. But this does not mean doing the course from a less popular college will not fetch good job - but the salary package will be less. Also You can work as Freelance Consultant - this is becoming very popular in urban areas. Especially where new housing societies are developed. People hire Interior designers for Home Offices etc.

NID is the best. So do not think much. Yes you can do Masters in Designing after B.Tech. Eligibility :
Bachelor degree of minimum 4-year duration in any specialisation, after 10+2 system, from any university or institute recognised by law in India. Condition: Applicant must (have passed/have appeared for/be appearing for) the Bachelor degree.

Hi Shubham,
The Designing Courses are Skill Based Programs. So they should not be treated like any other regular UG courses.
So you should study 1st year as well to learn the basics. Even if you did 1st from another college.
I do not think lateral entry in any Design School Possible.
Think again and restart.

NID and NIFT Hyderabad is the best Option for sure.

Hi MD Hashir, The scope is very high. The design engineers are now a days in demand, due to new technologies developing in india. Even the 3D printing technology requires a software Crafted design for printing. The design engineers uses software such as Solidworks, Creo, Autocad, Solid Edge For Drafting and designing. The designing team has a work of creating Machine Parts or Products from the Scratch through R&D and Brainstorming. The parts created are sometimes revised upto 50 times just because of shapes or not getting desired property.
