1. Liaising with clients, contractors and relevant authorities (e. g. the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority)
2. Providing advice and consultancy support
3. Writing computer software and test procedures
4. Developing new business proposals.
5. Managing operations
6. Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers.

If you are asking about NIFT's B.Des and B.FTech courses, than the eligibility criteria for both of courses are different. B. Des requires 10+2 in any stream while B.FTech needs 10+2 with PCM. B. Des courses are available in following domains as Fashion Design / Leather Design / Accessory Design / Textile Design / Knitwear Design / Fashion Communication. While B.FTech is related to apparel production includes manufacturing technology, information technology, quality management, artificial intelligence etc. The course introduces students to the fundamentals governing aesthetic and design elements and the fundamentals of management. It imparts extensive knowledge of raw materials including fabrics and trims and of machinery involved in the manufacturing of apparels. Students develop understanding of production planning, merchandising, work study and quality control which provide essential operational knowledge relating to future work profiles. The total number of seats is also an important factor because B.Des courses have a total number of 2862 seats in India, where as B.FTech have 518 only. So you may choose your course as per your interest. Both course (B. Des and B.FTech are in demands if done from a reputed institute. However, my choice is B.FTech.
