Yes, of course. Every year, NIFT Development Fund provides for subsidized tuition fee under the NIFT Means-Cum-Merit Financial Assistance Scheme to a handful of design aspirants. However, the ceiling of subsidy is variable. You must check the criteria of this scholarship scheme before applying.

This is entirely dependent on the career you wish to pursue, full fashion designers need to pursue three year courses else for start up you can pursue 1 year diplomas too. NIFT offers 4 year courses or short 1-2 years diplomas/certificates.
