Hi,
The basic eligibility for B.Sc in interior designing is 10+2 and B.Sc course is for 3 years or 6 semesters. There are many institutes that provide B.Sc through correspondence or distance learning, however, you will need to check with the institute individually regarding the lateral entry options. Normally, each university has its own rules for lateral entry into its graduate programmes. In case of B.Sc in interior designing, lateral entry is possible for candidates who have successfully completed 1st or 2nd year of degree programme in interior design itself. Yes it is a good choice. But it have some admission criteria :-
* Candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board.
* Eligible candidates need to appear for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by the MIT Institute of Design.
* Studio Test and Personal Interview :-
Shortlisted candidates will be called for studio test and personal interview based on the score obtained in Design Aptitude Test (DAT).
