Yes, you can pursue fashion designing courses from any institute offering those courses and not just the "Fashion Design" colleges. But, I would also like to tell you that this makes a big difference in job prospects as design colleges, particularly, invite companies from designing field.

As per the personal feedback, I have came across. The B.Des is a qualitative course over here as they start with basics of it and improves your skills to a great extent. All the assignments and exhibition will give you a great exposure.

Yes, you can take admission in design college on the basis of JEE Mains paper 2. Since NATA paper has a huge weightage of drawing, abstract and aesthetic sensibility, it is given more importance than any other exams. On the other hand JEE has been producing brilliant architects for as long as 40 years now. Both the exams have an equal importance in the field of design. You can either appear for one of them or both. Appearing for both, however, will give you the upper hand.

Hi Ankita!
Congratulations on your rank! I'm afraid you won't be able to get a seat in KD Mumbai. You can try for an NRI seat which also seems difficult. Or there are definitely other centres. You should keep your fingers crossed for!
Good luck!
