From your question, its not very clear if you have already enrolled to the course. Since you are enquiring about the placements , what is important for you is to decide first what are you looking forward to make your career in it. If you are sure about your career choice and really interested in pursuing a diploma in fashion field then go for it.

Diploma in fashion designing is one year course and B. Design is four years degree course. So, undoubtedly, B.Design has better scope and opportunity ahead which gives complete knowledge about subject.

The basic eligibility for B.Sc in interior designing is 10+2 and B.Sc course is for 3 years or 6 semesters. There are many institutes that provide B.Sc through correspondence or distance learning, however, you will need to check with the institute individually regarding the lateral entry options. Normally, each university has its own rules for lateral entry into its graduate programmes.
