There is no specific stream or discipline required in order to take admission in NIFT. You can opt for any stream to apply for NIFT Entrance Exam. All you need is an aptitude for design, which will determine your admission.

Commencement of online NIFT 2018 Application:
October 20, 2017.
Last date of NIFT application form 2018:
December 29, 2017.
Deadline for online registration with late fee of Rs.5000/- (in addition to the applicable fee paid via credit/debit card only)
January 2, 2018.
In case of Demand Draft, the printout of application along with DD should reach before January 2, 2018.
Window to update/edit NIFT 2018 application form:
From December 30, 2017 (12:00 hours) till January 2, 2018 (1600 hours).
Availability of online admit card of NIFT 2018:
January 9, 2018.
