The Exam pattern of CEED exam is mentioned below:
CEED exam uses English as a medium of instruction. The CEED exam pattern is such that the test consists of two parts, which are, Part A and Part B. Both the parts are conducted on the same day and aspirants need to appear for both the exams on the given date and time.
CEED Part A Test Pattern
Part A of CEED exam consists of objective type questions MCQ, MSQ and NAT. Candidates need to attempt CEED Part A exam on a computer. Questions asked in this section of CEED exam are from topics such as visual and spatial ability, environmental and social awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, language, observation and design sensitivity.
CEED Part B Test Pattern
Part B of CEED paper comprises of questions to test an aspirant's design, drawing and writing skills. In CEED Part B exam questions are displayed on a computer screen and candidates need to solve them on an answer booklet provided by the invigilator.
There are 8 questions in CEED Part B exam. The marking scheme is such that question number 1-5 in CEED exam are of 50 marks each and candidates have a choice to attempt any one of these questions.
Note: Part A of CEED 2018 will be considered as a screening exam. Thus, students who have been shortlisted in this test will be evaluated for Part B of the exam. However, only the scores of candidates in Part B will be used to prepare the merit list for CEED 2018.
CEED Score
The final CEED score of candidates is determined by giving 25% weightage to marks obtained by candidates in Part A and the remaining 75% weightage is determined basis scores obtained in CEED Part B exam.

I would not suggest you to go for a distance degree in fashion business management. Even if you will learn the theoretical part, you will have no knowledge about the practical. Fashion management is the art of taking a designer's vision from paper to the runway to the racks and, eventually, into the wardrobes of customers around the world. The programme gives students a deeper understanding of the business of fashion and what it takes to create successful fashion products.
One thing that can be done is if you are already into the system somehow, you can then pursue a distance course so as to get an official degree and become a professional individual.

You can pursue a Diploma or a certificate while pursuing a Bachelor of textiles. Textile design forms the core of the entire business of fashion. Rapidly expanding activities in the domestic and export sectors of the apparel and home fashion industry demands professional inputs in design and development of fibers and textiles. Textile design is presently the strategic value-adding activity that can make all the difference in transforming fashion business into an economically viable and profitable proposition.
The job prospects you can have after completing a degree and short-term courses are jobs in textile mills and export houses, with fashion designers, design studios, mills, buying houses, handloom cooperatives and buying agencies as Designer or Fabric Managers, or work independently as Designers or Entrepreneurs.

There is no need to pursue a parallel course along with a Bachelor of product design. Studying product design gives you the broad theoretical knowledge and practical skillset you'll need to use production methods and materials creatively.
You can find employment in both the private and public sector. Private sector work could include manufactured products for the domestic and industrial market. Working in the public sector may involve designing interactive facilities, such as public information points and equipment used by services such as the police, fire, and ambulance.
Employers include:
- industrial and domestic product manufacturers
- car manufacturers
- point-of-sale designers
- retailers.
Self-employment, or employment within a design-based consultancy, is also possible.
