To get into NID, you will have to clear an entrance exam.

No good college takes students with back logs. So it is advised to prepare for entrance exam this year and apply for the course next year.

Yes you can pursue the same however the practical training of the software can prove to be difficult, hence you would need extra classes or lot of practice & reserach
