Hi, to get admission into top fashion design colleges, you will have to appear in some entrance exams. Below are some entrance exams that you will need to qualify for to get into top design colleges in India:
1. To be admitted to the National Institute of Fashion Technology's Bachelor's or master's programs, you must pass the NIFT Entrance Exam.

Every NIFT campus offers a merit-based financial assistance programme to qualified students. It is known as SARTHAK under which you may receive up to a 100% scholarship at NIFT depending on your parent's income. There are three slabs in total:
1. Family income up to 1.5 Lacs: 100% scholarship
2. Family income up to 2.5 Lacs: 75% scholarship
3. Family income up to 4 Lacs: 50% scholarship

Yes you can proceed for Bdes after your 12th.Quiet a few good universities like Lovely Professional University, NIFT, FDDI, Amity etc .are good for Bdes.

For the B. Des (Bachelor of design) course, the UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design) exam score is accepted by CEPT university. For the BUD (Bachelor of Urban Design) course, the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture)exam score is accepted by CEPT university. For the BID (Bachelor of Interior Design) course, the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) exam score is accepted by CEPT university. No, the National Aptitude Test for Architecture NATA is not necessary for an interior design course in India. NATA is an entrance examination for architecture courses, not for an interior design course. National Aptitude Test for Architecture Colleges offers architectural design in housing, regional, industrial, environmental, transport, landscape, and so on. However, if you want to do an interior design course, you have to write the CEPT, AIEED SEED UID, IIAD, NID, GD Goenka, Pearl Academy Entrance Exam, etc.
