The last year closing rank at NIFT Delhi was 1720 in B. Des. FD course in asked category. So, ranks below 1700 can be safe if continue the last year of trends.

The total number of seats in B.FTech in NIFTs are about 518 (Including 35 state domicile and 50 NRIs). The last hear closing rank was 604 at NIFT Kannur in the general category. Hence, your chances are moderate.

The fee details are varying according to Institutes. If you are doing B. Des from NID, then you have to pay the total fee is about Rs 12,07,800/+Hostel fee for four years of course. While if you are doing UG Interior design course from Private Universities than you have to pay Rs 2,85,560 per semester. The B. Des Multimedia fee in Private Universities is about Rs 1,00,000 per semester.

Yes, you are eligible for Interior design course at IID Ahmedabad. IID offers the following two Interior design programs as under.
1. Interior design level-1 (11 Months course)
2. Interior design level-2 (11 Months course)
The eligibility criteria of IDL-1 is 10th passed and the course fee is Rs 75000. While the eligibility criteria for IDL-2 is 10th passed + IDL-1 and the course fee is Rs 75,000. So you are eligible for the Interior design level-1 course.

Yes, you can pursue the Interior design course after completion of B.Tech course. Top Design Institutes like IIT-B, IIT-G and IIT-Hyderabad, NIFTs and NID offers M.Des courses in various disciplines. The eligibility criteria of B. Des Interior and Furniture design is class 12th in any stream. There is no specific cutoff for class 12th marks in top Design schools like NID, NIFT and IITs etc. So, you are eligible for this course. The admissions in asked course is based on performance in Entrance exam.

There is no marks cutoff for government colleges for Interior design course. Only 10+2 passed or appear students are eligible for admission in Interior design courses. Top Institutes like NIFT, NID and IITs does not needs any specific percentage of marks for admission there.
