Congratulations on securing the first rank in Diploma in Architecture from AMU. According to AMU's admission norms, Diploma holders from AMU can get lateral entry into the second year of B.Arch. program. You can apply for admission to the second year of B.Arch. at AMU, and your Diploma qualification will be considered for eligibility. However, you'll still need to meet the university's admission criteria and follow the application process. It's recommended to check with the AMU admissions office or the architecture department for the most up-to-date information and to confirm your eligibility.

No,there is no strict requirement for a student to be citizen of Maharashtra.

However, there are some conditions and reservations applicable to students from Maharashtra and other states.

Eligibility criteria should be met and exams should be qualified.

Candidates can give the the CET examination and the merit list is prepared based on the CET scores and is alloted accordingly.
