You can study if you have a good profile. Backlogs are considered if not a big number and if you have improved on your marks after clearing the backlogs. Since Canadian colleges are competitive I will also advise you to keep other country options also.

What's your JEE or State Engineering Exam score. It depends on your score and your category while getting a college. Do proper research about colleges and there cut-offs. Search for colleges in your city/town or state. You can get some good colleges in Pune.

You may pursue a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or look for Bachelor's degree in more specialised subjects like automobile engineering or robotics, automotive design, etc. Check the admission requirements prepare accordingly.

You are correct. Diploma holders in engineering from a Polytechnic are eligible for lateral entry into B.Tech aeronautical engineering. By the way, what is your question?

Hi Saim, first you have to decide what you are going to study and where you want to settle. What is best for you is something you have to decide. Ask yourself if you want to pursue further studies in civil engineering or specialize in related fields like urban planning and design, architecture etc or do you want to pursue management studies. Know what you want and decide accordingly.

It is completely a student's choice to take PGD or Masters. Difference is you get you clear more credits for Masters, the entry is difficult that PGD and it is more expensive. However, since it is like this you have the better money making options too. With PGD, you can still get a job (keeping in mind that hard work is still yours) but you will slowly progress. In case you plan to return and be a part of your own family business PGD will suit you more.
