Candidates must have minimum three years of work experience. Most of the institutes conduct their own entrance exams while some do not have an entrance test. For eg; Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) accepts scores of management exams like CAT XAT MAT ATMA etc.

In accordance with NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary schools in Tamil Nadu, recognised by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible.

It would be better to go for full time course instead of correspondence because that will be having less value than the regular one. By the way, for which institute are you asking?
