As per the guidelines by the Bar Council of India. A university or institute can offer the LLB programme only in the regular mode.
Due to the vast course structure, moot court practice and practical approach. In terms of the internship, the regular mode education in law will be more beneficial.
If you want to start your career in law then you can think of regular mode only.

What I could make out of your query is that instead of going to college, you want to do diploma by distance education. Well, IGNOU has vast pool of courses from certificate course to PG & beyond all by distance learning only. There will definitely be a study centre in Ahmedabad. Please go there or using internet see website of IGNOU for detailed information.
